I cried when I got to the bittersweet ending to The Sirens of Titan. It's up there with my favourite Vonnegut novels, but I do think I should stop reading them late at night on my own.

Great great story...not sure if I like it more than Slaughterhouse V...but I haven't read that one in many years.

One of my favorite books now, and probably one of the only ones that so artfully asks and answers the questions of purpose.  What if there was no purpose to life? What if there is a purpose and that purpose is totally lame? And what then, when we complete that purpose? Vonnegut plays with a lot of questions and issues. This is a fun book with some good characters.
