My first time reading Vonnegut and it did not disappoint. I've already purchased Cat's Cradle.

An amazing and utterly moving read. The subject matter tied with Vonnegut's originality and unusual story-telling style makes this a must read.

Here is a book you can just pick up and finish and its all the more powerful for it. We have a fractured narrative with that Vonnegut stereotype the bumbling everyman as its central character. He also places himself in the narrative in a really personal and moving way. The book is powerful, ironic and terse, however I sometimes wonder if the sum is greater than the parts.
