If you work a lot like me, then this is a light breeze at the end of a long day! A tyoical Sophie Kinsella book, funny, gripping and totally nuts! The heroine in this particular book is Emma, a wildly imaginative girl who spills all her secrets out to a complete stranger! The repercussions are, of course, totally hilarious!!! It is true that Sophie Kinsella's books run along the same types of plots, but hey, they are still pleasurable! They are the snack during an arduous day! I greatly recommend it to unwind and let your mind simply idle along, and many-a-times, lough out loud!!!    hide

The story of a clumsy but lucky girl seem to fit the fantasy of all those ordinary girls out there who dreams to be swept of their feet by the man of their dreams. Not to mention someone who's young, successful,romantic and also head over heels about you. Well its no fantasy that there exists a story like that. But probably one in a million. I loved the pacing of the story. Kinsella is a great modern writer who writes very smoothly and knows her medium very well. Although, this book come so simple that it could work well as a comics. After finishing the book I felt like getting another book by Kinsella.   hide

Another audiobook. Very well-read. Nice light chicklit that doesn't need to insult my intelligence with dumbed down heroines or wildly implausible high living. I like the ordinariness of her life and job and the totally beliveable way she stuffs things up (hence giving plot!). Also the dancing barristers made me laugh. Her last book had lawyers too - has she escaped the profession?   hide

Everybody has secrets but what harm can come from divulging your 'little' secrets to an unsuspecting stranger? This is what happens to Emma, the only thing is, the stranger doesn't turn out to be so strange after all! This is my favourite of all the Sophie Kinsella novels - I've read it tow times already! An hilarious page turner that will have you laughing out loud and thirsty for more. It has all the ingredients for a great read, humour, romance and belivable characters. Read this book and you may think twice about revealing the secrets in your closet!    hide
