Sisters

I had to read this book because the cover is a carbon copy of myself and my sisters, however the story is kind of ridiculous and its easy to see here that Danielle Steel is not exactly a literary genius. The story didn't make me feel good and although there are some nice moments, it is still a bit too far fetched and poorly written for my taste. Unbelieveable, and not in a good way.

I am a fan of Danielle Steel and her books. I gave this to my grandmother for Christmas, and she loved it, so now she is passing it around. It just got to me, and I also loved it. Now I am passing it off to my mom. This was a great airplane book, except when you laugh out loud and people start to look at you weird.

It was a little different from the usual Danielle Steele recipe of beautiful good hearted little victim down trodden by the world and pulls self up by bootstraps and meets fabulous love of life.... This had a little more diversity and depth than a lot of her stories. Overall, easy reading, nice story, can certainly see that "sister - pick squabble then be off giggling...more

This book was so boring and cliche. I stopped reading about halfway through.

she is one of the best storyteller...perfect balance...something of everything in her books!!! You get all kind of emotions, and she takes you right there as you are part of it....great for relaxation

This is my first DS book in years and I read it in a few hours. It was ok. I put her books in the category of "fairy tales for adults". All the charaters are perfect, beautiful, successful and talented. They all seem to go through the worst kind of catastrophe's but everyone lives happily ever after. I think it will be a few more years before I read another one. It's almost like eating baby...more
