It was good, not oh my I can't put it down good but good. It addresses real issues and emotions and that is what made it interesting. I like that the story was told from different perspectives too!
It was ok, not one of those oh my I can't but it down books but a nice read. It addresses some real issues and emotions!
Well written and a sad read. Maybe it hit home a little because my husband has been back and forth to Iraq and this summed up one of my worst fears and the aftermath..Recommed to anyone who wants a deep read.
Such a powerful and moving story! It was interesting how easily the author could slip between the mother's and daughter's voices and still be believable. It reminded me of some of Jacquelyn Mitchard's work.
