Great book. Well written and skillfully argued. Everyone should read this book. An absolutely fascinating book. Well written. Hard to put down.

Overall, I think this is an excellent overview of the application of evolutionary theory to, well, just about everything. The author writes in a remarkably accessible and friendly style. Even so, he does not sacrifice the quality of the information that he shares. I would say that he accomplishes what he set out to do. It's definitely worth the read!

Dr. Sloan Wilson does a phenomenal job of making evolutionary theory accessible to anyone who has the desire to learn it. The prose is conversational and light, but still full of useful facts and studies. This book helped me in my journey to change the way I think.

One of the most outstanding books on evolution I've read. Wilson uses an effective yet understandable means to describe how it applies to humans in just about everything we do, from forming groups to creating art. Yet he emphasizes how religion and evolution may coexist.

a really interesting book on evolution, but in the chapters on religion he misses the point...still he is respectful of spirituality, and it is a good read for anyone with an open mind
