Now belatedly I'm now reading with more enjoyment and insights the 2nd of five books in his "Hinges of History" series _The Gifts of the Jews: How a Tribe of Desert Nomads Changed the Way Everyone Thinks and Feels_ These Cahill popular histories remind me of James Madison's experience with reading, "History, an inexhaustible fund of entertainment and instruction". I am entertained and receiving welcome instruction.
