The varied collection of stories in this book shows a different side of Atwood from time to time.. a realistic portrait of country life without her occasional misanthropy.. although I do love the misanthropy.. and some of her more usual fare as well. worth a read, for sure.

Couple of decent stories in here, but they all sounded alike. Not her best.

Meh. Not her greatest. The Blind Assassin and The Handmiad's Tale are far better.

Great collection of short stories. There's is at least one character that every woman can relate to.

Margaret Atwood is always interesting. Even though I don't agree with her philosophy of the sexes or her theology, her storytelling ability draws me in and keeps me reading.
