I thought this was a well-crafted tale. A woman whose personal life is in turmoil tries to get away from it all with what she thinks is an easy Caribbean travel writing assignment. Instead she gets swept up into island politics, smuggling, and revolution with an oppressive government. She is imprisoned, and upon release has a better understanding of just how small her little troubles truly are....

She is imprisoned, and upon release has a better understanding of just how small her little troubles truly are. The first Atwood book I ever read, and among my two favorites of hers.
