Just Brillant!

I have read all of E Lynn Harris' books including his latest novel. A bit of a twist from the norm, but truly very enjoyable.

This book was pretty deep. Fascinating characters

I don't know what book the other reviewers read, but it definitely wasn't the one I read. The main character misses his old flame and is considering how and why he should take him back. Meanwhile, the sub-protagonist deals with her own drama while getting advice from the protagonist. Bor-ring! This book was a joke. He must have come up with the plot and theme while sitting on the toilet because that's how simplistic and cliche this book is. It left such a bad taste in my mouth I haven't read a Black drama since (3 years). The only reason I give it 1 star is that iRead doesn't let you give "0" stars.   hide
