Amsterdam: A Novel

Delightfully twisted.

Another McEwan great!

Ian McEwan is an undisputedly great modern author. I'll continue to read his novels as few of his contemoraries manage to combine such beautiful prose & profound truths in such a deceptively simplistic style. HOWEVER~Despite winning the coveted Booker Prize, this is not his best work.

Another beautifully written novel by McEwan. Story is sparse but interesting and a little creepy and a little sad and very ironic.
