more If you have read any of the other Dan Brown novels, the formula for the plot progression does not diverge from earlier stories....at all. The story follows a 12 hour timespan with an insurmountable collection of details concerning the Freemasons in Washington D.C. While openly ambitious and engaging, the evidence is sketchy at best and presents more questions than it answers. The plot is rather solid yet effective but the characters can appear rather flat at times. Overall, the novel does not compare to its predecessors but it is entertaining nonetheless.
