A genius concept, I was really looking forward to this book. Unfortunately it didn't really live up to my expectations. If you gravitate more toward supernatural or sci-fi genres, then I would definitely recommend this, and if you're into romance, magic, and eco-terrorism, then this'll be right up your alley.

the way this book rolled forward was not obviouse and it was not subtle, it was like a sunrise, impressive and exhiting, something that has to happen, unstoppable. Great.

I really had to push myself to finish this one. I love Chuck, but this just didn't have the edginess or magic of the other works of his I've read. Great concept - it just didn't fully float my boat.
