John Grisham writes a good book. This one seemed to lose steam toward the end. Not a strong finish, but still entertaining. Enjoyed it!

I used to love John Grisham books, but lately, his typical writing is great plot, but horrible ending! Looks like I need to take a break from him for some time.

enjoyed the book but what a lousy ending...am sure Mr Grisham could have done better. Nevertheless very funny, i particularly liked when Kyle said "I've become so adept at appearing to be so clueless that these clowns think they can follow me in their sleep." referring to Bennie's boys (Doofus and them)LOL

The book is really exciting and thrilling, with two drawbacks: 1 - Grisham, Grisham, Grisham always means Law, Courthouse, Lawyers. And it stops right there. The Associate is no exception. It is a minor drawback as you are prepared for this before beginning to read it, but a drawback anyway. 2 - Although the book is a really good one, it seems Mr Grisham has always some difficulty to...more

i have read every book Mr. Grisham has ever published. i have to say, i found this one lacking. it came across as a little self indulgent & trite. nothing wrong with the end - but taken as a whole, the book built to a huge anti climax... one can't help but ask...is that it?

Standard late Grisham. His contract must require books of a certain length. I knew I was getting close to the end because I was running out of pages, though the book didn't really build to any kind of a climax. Then he ended it. I've really stopped reading Grisham because he is really nothing more than a marketing label now, but my wife got me this one. I keep hoping for another...more

Typical John Grisham novel, with a switch of setting and a much faster pace. Plenty of twists and turns, and an ending that seems to encourage thought more than bring the book to a crashing end. A very good read. Although not quite as good as his elites like "A Time to Kill" or "The Partner", it compares very well with just about any other Grisham book.

The book was amazing, another best from Grisham. But (you knew that was coming), the ending, SUCKS! I am not asking for a happy ending here but a bit more detail would have been highly appreciated! Honestly, dude!?!
