Honestly drawn 360* picture of womanizing, self-absorbed, and ulimately stifled, deceased painter captured through the varied perspectives of those who surrounded him in his life. A joy to read.
Book about a dead painter who had a wife and a mistress. It's interestingly graphic, but about folks quite senior in age. Would be interesting to read another by the same author. Perhaps Epicure's Lament, In the Drink, etc.
