It gets a little ani-eavesdropping and political for me, but overall interesting account of how the domestic listening campaign started.

James Bamford has once more opened the curtain to reveal the inner workings of the National Security Agency. His previous books were enlightening but this one is scary as you learn story behind our nation's spying on its own citizens. A must read for anyone concerned with civil liberties.

This guy still jumps around in his narrative. The technical stuff is good to read. But more than the NSA is involved here. Be prepared to be taken through the White House, the FBI, the CIA, foreign goverment intelligence groups. Also prepare for some regurgitation from previous Bamford books. The material is great; the writing, not so great.

A must read for anyone who cares about civil liberties and how easily they can be taken away without our knowledge.
