I'm not much for politics, but this book on Catholics in American political life challenged me to consider how important it is for people of faith to bring their convictions into public life, for the sake of the common good.Chaput has a concise, measured but compelling style, and while it is addressed to Catholics in particular, I think many other Christians would appreciate it as well.My...more

I'm only on chapter 2 and I am in awe of this man. He is an articulate and brilliant man of God. A must read for any Christian voting this election.

I've only had it for a few days and I'm only a few pages into it, but I admire Chaput, and am looking forward to a good read. Clarity is needed going into the elections this November.

With candidates blasted for their religious belief and other playing up their beliefs as credentials, it was refreshing to read an...more

This is not your typical book on politics. Certainly, Archbishop Chaput deals with that subject, but more importantly this book is a call to live with personal integrity. If you claim to believe in something, then it must have an impact on your life or else your belief is merely superficial.
