Loved it. I read the book first, then found the blog. I

uh...what a whiny book. the bad part is that it actually happened. someone singlehandedly creates a situation and then whines about it. I thought it was about living in France. Whatever -- I think I should just stay away from books like this because they irritate me.

I didn't like this book. What bothered me the most was it's true. Too much information and I felt UNCOMFORTABLE! I guess I think dirty laundry needs to be kept in the fiction realm. I really liked Mr. Frog and Tadpole. Families should stay together. Mr. Frog should marry the mother of his baby. There's no excuse. I just feel sorry for Tadpole.

Didn't really enjoy this. I thought it was a book about living in Paris when all it really was was this whiny, selfish, self-centered, thoughtless woman talking about her sexual indiscretions and trying to get people to feel sorry for her because she had an affair. Needless to say I won't read it a second time. ”

I love her blog and check it daily (though the quality went down a bit with the publication of the book b/c she lost her anonymity). The book is a little disappointing after the blog, however it provides background details that are not contained in the blog.

So far, I'm loving it!

An absolute must read for anyone who adores Paris culture and lifestyle, and of course, for anyone who fell in love and got their heart smashed. Catherine is so lovely and totally inspiring. I loved this book, can't wait for installment number 2!
