This book lets you into a world of child trafficking - a dark and terrible life as told by a survivor. Somaly Mam tells her story of digging out of that hole and now reaching into brothels to help all those girls who are still entrenched in that life. Very disturbing book, but necessary (and written honestly)

One of the most powerful, vivid, and disturbing books i've ever read. I felt sick to my stomach while reading the harsh realities of Mam's world. It is a horrific book that will open your eyes to another world and make you want to get up and help save them and the world.

A moving memoir of Somaly Mam, the Cambodian anti-human trafficking activist, who recounts her escape from forced prostitution in the slums of Phnonm Penh, Cambodia. A shocking, moving work that demolishes ignorance about the dehumanization of women worldwide, as especially in Southeat Asia entrapped by sexual slavery.

A must-read for everyone. It should inspire each one of us to do our bit, no matter how small, to rescue and protect the baby girls of Cambodia.
