INTENSE! Very good book, even though it was hard to read. Cant believe this is still happening around the world...crazy and makes you so mad! This woman is amazing!

She had to depened on herself for survival as her famly was demolished by the Khmer Rouge, just as thousands of other families were. After many years of unimaginable events, this woman positioned herself so that she could help any and all women in Cambodia, Vietnam & Thailand.. To date, she has helped more than 4000 women find a better life, won several humanitarian awards and has survived herself. Her prose is brutal, honest and incredibly moving. This story is an example of how "just one person" can in fact make a huge difference in the world. This story simply took my breath away.   hide
