The Glister: A Novel

I'd recommend this book. Fairly gripping story from the get-go. Leonard, the protagonist, is a smart & likable kid. And he got off a few sarcastc lines that made me LOL. That said, it is a depressing and somewhat hopeless story line, and the ending didn't tie things up with the clarity I would've liked. All in all, I'd give it a solid 3.5 outta 5.
