Suze Orman's 2009 Action Plan

I think this book gave me the huge understanding that our problem can solved by self-action.

I liked her concise explanations and timely information. I do not agree that it is everyone's interest to pay off the mortgage early. (I think that if you can refinance at the current low rates, inflation will pay off much of the mortgage for you.)

Liked that it was written for a quick read and that you could skip over the parts that don't apply to you.

This lady knows what she's talking about when it comes to money!

Downloaded the free version from Oprah's website...so far so good.

Book was very good. Very easy to read and understand. If you watch her show regularly or have read any of her previous books than there really didn't seem to be any "NEW" information in the book that we haven't already heard. It does explain a little better how we got in this financial crisis and housing slump and bank problems, but her solutions to fix the issues are the same...more

Written similar to a reference chapters are broken down to topics and then a brief explanation, plan of action and then Q and A. Highly Recommended to those who are new to Suze Orman but for those of us who are regulars..there really is not any new info..   hide

So other than putting me in a very upset mood it was a great book for pointing out the things I need to do to take care of my family.

This book is so informative. Now all I need is the financial plannner to help me invest.

Interesting format for the book - I found some sections that were relevant to me.
