absolutely great, like the 1st and 2nd, i just cant believe it its not over yet, there is one more part coming??? I need to know the end - NOW! hope it will be out soon :-)

As captivating as the first and second volumes..... but is not the end of the story yet.... I hope the fourth volume will be... its staring to drag on a bit too much... its like reading all over again the J.R.R. Tolkien Lord of the Rings!!!!!

tied up a lot of things that weren't explained in the first two books, but now I'm in suspense! XD Can't wait until he finishes the 4th and last book! XD

I love how in each book of the inheritance cycle we find out suprising stuff about Eragon's family. This book was good, but I thought it kind of draged, and it was a little disapointing that we have to wait for another book to know the ending.

this book was good. but im ever more anxious to see how everything ends. the 4th book seems like its going to be huge...it will need to be.

Almost annoyingly long. And seriously, Paolini didn't really further his plot--he just tied up some loose ends from Eldest.

Too much battling and not enough story. Skip this book and go straight to #4 (whenever it comes out).

I would have loved it more if it was the last book like the author proclaimed before release.
