Although I think it is clever and well-written I still couldn't get into this book. Might try again at a later date. The gross out factor is very high, and that is saying something as I usually have an iron stomach.

An excellent book! Shelley Jackson has been compared to Kathy Acker, but I felt that Jackson was actually a lot more accessible (easy to read) as well as fun. In this collection of stories, body parts or processes are the focus of each story - which sounds creepy and gross, but she actually writes about the things in completely different ways than one would expect.
