Very Nice Book , it is my horizon about how was the people in this old thinking , and how that the spiritual visions influences the thinking of those even if they was very intellectual and self confident , it also taught me that how the ignorance between the cultures will lead to such wars .

When someone throws out the word "Crusade" we should probably read up on what it means to the rest of the audience, huh? I enjoyed this book and, even though some consistently refer to Ms. Armstrong as an apologist, the book is well-researched and clarifies concepts like Sala-ad-Din, Jerusalem, and Knights Templar. based on the cover, i'd guess this book is about a guy who lost a bet to a an archer and had to fling himself across town by catapult or risk getting shot with an arrow. but, having read the book, i know that's only about 22% true. rather, the pages shed some clarification on how fucked up the crusades were and how incredibly zealous and fanatic people could be when they hear voices and mistake...more
