This book is really creative. The idea of short stories that tell a whole story is very unique and exciting. A great book to add to any collection.

What I loved best about this book was the seamless way the stories moved. And the strict adheration of the author to her central story. The one critism I can make is this - Atwood shifts between 1st person narrative and 3rd person narrative that can leave readers wondering - what's going on?

Slightly flat but leaving a question. Easy read with one long section. Where did the boys with the feet go?

This is a sort of novel, disguised as short stories. It is unveiled as you go along. Very unsentimental and yet (or may because of that) it conveys an insight into the human condition.
