Explores the power of memory. Loved it because it makes you think about how you have become the person you are and how experiences have shaped your view of the world. I can only imagine what talks between her and her husband (Jonathan Safran Foer) would be like. Remembrance is a major theme in Foer's books as well.
After reading The History of Love, I was so excited to pick up another Krauss novel. I was dissapointed in this work. It was, of course, well-written...but something was missing for me. It's still worth reading for the simple fact that I want to support this woman's brain and, by buying her books, hopefully she will write many more :)
I wasn't that into this book. It didn't really pique my interest all that much, which was a disappointment because I really liked "History of Love". I can't really quite put my finger on why I didn't care for it that much. Samson was interesting enough, I guess.
