One of the most powerful, and sad books I have ever read.  The awful beauty of the prose and the story line converge to make the novel grippingly real and unforgettable.  Although classified as YA, it challenges readers of all ages to contemplate the purpose and meaning of life. A must read...when you don't mind being emotionally drained!

Have the tissues at your side when reading this. Good read even if you want to kick Tessa's ass at times.

really good. A girl has cancer and she wants to fufill a list before she dies. She wants to have sex, break the law, do drugs, be famous, and much more. While trying to complete her list she meets a boy who she falls in love with. In the end she completes her list. The end of the book was very cool in the dynamic of the writing. As she was dying the paragraphs get further and further apart. Very...more

This book is a real eye opener.  Shows us just how short life is.

Love is the center of this book.  Big ups to ADAM who loves TESSA unconditionally.  He knows she hasnt got much time left on Earth.

I would love a guy who painted my name all over town for everyone to see just how much he loves me.

A must read!!!

"The Bucket List" for teens--I liked this book. Tessa starts off with 10 things she wants to do before she dies. They start off typical teenage things--have sex, try drugs, drink... but the closer she gets to dying she changes things or adds to her list and they become more "in the moment".
