I thoroughly enjoyed this book - once I got used to how it was written phonetically to reflect a Scottish accent! The characters balanced each other nicely and provided different points of view that added layers to the overall plot. I preferred the first three sections to the last. Out of all of the Irvine Welsh books this one is the hardest to read. I enjoyed it very much...especially learning about how all of the main characters grew up and what shaped them into being who they were in the other novels. I read it awhile back but didn't quite finish it...second time is a charm? I now have to start from the beginning...darn it!

Quite hard to read at first, but once you get yourself actually into the story and imagine being present, it's alot easier!

Maravilloso. Te hace reir y llorar a partes iguales.
