One of the best neo-hard-boiled's out there. The poem that inspired the novel's title is amazing, too. Great dialog that hits like a drunken Hemingway.

Fabulously evocative writing. Funny. Haunting. Beautiful. Made me want to roll the western landscape, stopping at every small roadside bar until I find a destination.
