This is a great book. It has all the fun language and art that make Dr. Seuss great, but the one thing it is lacking is the fun narrative that accompanies the very best works and Dr. Seuss. Still, a great read.

It was read to me 35 years ago, now I'm reading it to my kids. Innovative illustrations and fun rhymes, although some of Dr. Seuss' books are liable to give you nightmares with some of their images.

It starts off a bit slow. Fish is not a very good rhyme with the word fish, but it gets much better. The best part is about Ned, becuase he has this problem, he doesn't like his little bed. Part of the night his head sticks out, and then the other part of the night his feet stick out, which may not sound interesting, but told in rhyme and with an accompanying picture, its quite powerful.
