Fascinating glimpse into the canine psyche

My favorite as a very little kid. Stared at the dog party page FOREVER...so much to assimilate! I give it all the stars in the sky for any toddler!

I think this is the first book I remember reading.

I think this is about the best first reader ever.

Favorite part is the hat conversation throughout...and of course the kickin dog party at the end. A must read to every 3, 4 and 5 year old...and to myself of course. This book is for Cody Joe. :-)

I always wondered what happened on top of very large trees. I found it fascinating to discover they have dog parties up there. I also learned that if people do not like your hat,you should keep trying different ones. You will find one they eventually like.

A classic, as all Dr. Suess books are.
