My boys LOVE this book...me..not so much...but that's ok ;)

This is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books. Excellent environmental message, along with Seuss's trademark sly humor.

This is definitely one of my favorite stories written by Dr. Seuss. The inner hippie in me, fell in love with the story of The Lorax, who speaks for the trees, against the greedy, business industry driven, Once-ler. The Lorax's mission to try and save his environment, from The Once-ler's destruction, ranging from chopping down all the trees to polluting the sky and lakes from his factory and the over population due to his "relatives" taking over the area in order to live and work at the factory, is commonly used today, as a metaphor concerning the human impact on the environment.   hide
