It was really cool to see people in Gerald Morris's world beyond Camelot, especially ones so amusing as Lynet and Roger/Gaheris. It is a great adventure, and Lynet's growth from savage, jealous sister to accomplished and well-adjusted sorceress (albeit one with a sharp tongue) is a really fun tale to read.
i bought this book because of the title but read it straight through because of Lynet and Roger. Gerald Morris really makes a fun job of retelling classic Arthurian Legend by filling in those gaping plot-holes with his own lovable characters. funny thing is, though, this story fills in the gaps perfectly if you know what you're looking for in Le Morte D'Arthur. i like literature, but i like...more
