Great story and style but the structure was a head wrecker.

I loved Neuromancer, but the rest of his novels were lacking something. This one, however, renewed my interest in his writing.There's a rock'n'roll star who falls in love with a CG pop star, and wants to marry her, which sends all sorts of people in to fits: fans, agents, the Russian mafia, and a news reporter/director who wants to destroy his career, even if it means making up the news herself.

I love this book. The core tech is a little far-fetched and inaccessible, but I can imagine a future where it will be relevant. Otherwise, some of the tangential/incidental technologies are intriguing enough to warrant some research and development.
