I loved this book couldn't put it down.

A new perspective on race relations and the civil rights movement. A great selection for book club which also led to interesting comments on modern motherhood, balancing family and career and the influence of other people in your life who may help to raise your kids.

One of my favorite books ever

Very interesting insight to a time that seems like it should have been so long ago but really wasn't. Really makes you reflect on how things have and haven't changed since the days of segregation. I enjoyed the characters and thought they were well developed.
