The most exciting part was the attack on the daycare. Some slow parts in the middle. The ebola stuff was little bit gory but really interesting. The supporting characters (O'Day, Price, the secret service detail) are really likable.

3/4 part of the novel really bored me, slow pace. other 1/4 part burst the action plus the thriller. great end too.

I've read ALL of Clancy's Jack Ryan books...I'm such a FAN! (John Clark is my favorite character!)

The classic time of a 'commoner' suddenly become president, his straight and honest personality is forced to clash with bureaucracy and dirty politics. Tom Clancy is the best when describing a modern war. His description about the Second Persian Gulf War in the last chapters really brings me to the middle of Arabian Desert, with the loud noise and fire everywhere.
