I thought this was excellent, right up until the 'chance encounter between bit part character and evil baddie' scene which turned the whole plot around. Surely, Surely, TC could've come up with something better than that for his heroes to get the upper hand?

Not something I usually read but I actually enjoyed the creativity. Gives ideas of what virtual reality can be in years and years and years from now. hehehe

Not as good as the Op-Center series from the same authors.

I thought it was relatively entertaining. Might be better for a high school audience though. Ultimately, I would rather have just been reading a book that was actually written by Tom Clancy. I find it really amusing how clancy's name is in big bold letters, and the actual author's name is almost invisible. Give it a try if you like computers.

Laughable plot and even worse writing. Tom Clancy has never been a skilled writer, but this is really a low water mark.

To be honest, this book was not really much of a read. The last 50 pages (of 505) were decent and even exciting in parts, but the story was predictable, predictable and (guess what's next?), predictable. I'm not sure that I'll be picking up a Tom Clancy novel again any time soon.

Was given this to read by a friend. It took me ages to start because the size of it put me off. But as soon as I got down and started to read it, I really enjoyed it. Maybe a 'futuristic' book, but some of the 'future' gadgets are in the shops today... and if not, you'll see them tomorrow!! Scary!

First one was great! The series slowly became more rote but still had more than enough power to keep my interest!
