I love all of the Cornwell books. However, I will say the last few have fallen short of expectations. Too much time on the characters and too little on the crime and forensics.
All of her earlier works as Dr.Kay Scarpetta were great! Couldn't put them down. This one was good, but I think maybe she should just give up on the Kay books. Her style seems to have changed& she seems angrier than before
