Rainbow Six

It was so hard to pay attention to. I know a lot of people praise Tom Clancy, but his descriptive tendencies bore the hell outta' me. I'm normally not against over explanatory novels, such as Salinger or Plath, but for the genre and length of the book, it just made it boring...

Where to begin? First of all, it was a little strange, the transition from Jack Ryan to mostly Clark and Chavez, but it was enjoyable. I sort of felt the same way when the series transitioned from Intelligence to Politics, and now it's transitioned to Spec Ops, so it was a little odd. Overall, very good read, makes your realise that when these operations DO happen, they're over in seconds. Not at all the long, drawn out gunfights you see in the games. Too many grammatical errors in my edition. Maybe they've been fixed in others, but I doubt it.

Favorite Clancy book
