It was an easy read, had an interesting protagonist, and is a good book to jump in and out for someone who doesn't have several hours at a time to devote to reading. Overall, it kept me entertained. Though predictable and confusing, at times the seemingly most interesting point about the book is that Cornwell come off as a Southern Conservative who, in a strange juxtaposition, devotes an entire sub plot of the book to defending gay rights. I wonder what reverend the Billy Graham would have to say about that.
