I want another one N O W!!!
Aurora is doing well. Her heart, though sometimes still tender, is healing, she is enjoying her budding re-discovery of Robin and is actually looking forward. She is a busy-bee in her community and church and is loving her new house. The chasm, which is the memory of Martin, only occasionally threatens to swallow her now, and she can deal with that.
But in Roe's world, this just means something horrible is about to happen. And, so it does, when Roe, angry at her sister-in-law Poppy for not showing up to an important meeting, goes over to Poppy's house to tell her off. Once there however, she finds Poppy bludgeoned to death. And steps into a life dull of secrets, lies and betrayal. Which, incidentally, she does not enjoy NOR does she understand.
Add her half-brother Phillip showing up after running away, her increasing disgust with the people she thought were her friends and family and dealing with unwanted jealousy~~ALL while trying to figure out who did this to Poppy, and you have one great story. I REALLY hope there is more to come.
