As depressing as this series is. It keeps me reading it time after time. The ending was unsatsfying. As if the author couldn't decide on a better way to end it, so he went with how it is. Tally Youngblood lost appeal somewhere between Pretties and Specials. I don't know if that was intended but it's true. My suggestion is to read the first two, (Uglies and Pretties) then just...more

This was probably the best book in the series. It had a lot of fabulous twists and turns that the reader won't suspect. It was so good that it almost made a hardcore reader like me cry.

Tally's actions didn't make sense to me in this story (and the timeline they kept mentioning made the story work even less). Too bad, I like the previous ones.

Wow. Totally was blown away by the ending. This book was full of pleasant surprises. Definitely not your 'typical' teen fiction!

Very action-packed; so much so that sometimes all the action seemed to blur together and become meaningless. However, this one had more observations of human nature and more deep reflections, therefore more on a par with the original UGLIES than the more bubble-headed PRETTIES. All books are worth reading, however. I very much enjoy the world that Westerfeld created.

An action packed conclusion to the series.

Not bad, though considerably darker than the first two. It was a little hard reading the first half of the story when I knew the protagonist was working for the wrong side. It kind of made me want to scream at her and chuck the book across the room sometimes. And the end isn't as satisfying as I'd hoped, but... not a bad series, to be frank. Much better than what Christopher Paolini and...more

Tally is back and has now become a superhuman fighting machine and member of the Specials, an elite team of fighters controlled by the government. Won't make a bit of sense unless you read Uglies and Pretties first. Lots of action and lots of issues to think about.

These series isn't too bad. I liked this book book much better than the first one. I liked how he ended it. I haven't decided if I will read Extras or not.

After Shane gets Tally turned into a Special, they must work together to bring the City down, for good. While getting back into the wild and seeing her old love from the rusty camp, she must try and save her new love, Zane from the bugs that eat at his brain from the cure that was suppose to help they think like Uglies again. Will the group finally make it through to the end and have the City and...more
