One of my favorite Grisham novels, it is well-written and interesting all the way through.  A young law student figures out how (and even more importantly WHY) two supreme justices are murdered.  As soon as her Pelican Brief reaches the "top", her world falls apart.  Can she unravel the rest of the mystery before she becomes the next victim?  At least she has the help of a dedicated journalist -...more
 One of my favorite Grisham novels, it is well-written and interesting all the way through.  A young law student figures out how (and even more importantly WHY) two supreme justices are murdered.  As soon as her Pelican Brief reaches the "top", her world falls apart.  Can she unravel the rest of the mystery before she becomes the next victim?  At least she has the help of a dedicated journalist - now if he can just stay alive too...   hide

Although The Firm was my first novel by Grisham, and it blew my mind, The Pelican Brief is my all time favorite. I think I could even be talked into reading these early Grishams again. Just loved them.
