my first introduction into the world of grisham and i must say, a damn good one! they say that first impression's mean the most and they certainly did in this respect as i have gone on to read 98% of his writings to date and now rate him as one of my top author's. overall, this book is his best piece of work in my opinion (and this is being said after reading the majority of his books)! it contains all a good book should!   hide

The book was fantastic with all the twists in the plot. It made me wonder throughout the entire novel how Patrick was able to come up with all his schemes to steal $90 million and still get away with it. But I didn't like the ending though for it was another book by John Grisham in which the lawyer ends up on the losers' side. Makes me give my decision of pursuing a legal career a second thought.   hide
