The Partner

This is my favorite Grisham book. The master manipulator who has controlled everyone's actions, including his own, finds no peace. I loved the way the once fat man hungered for great pizza but could no longer enjoy more than a taste after his transformation.

The book was fantastic with all the twists in the plot. It made me wonder throughout the entire novel how Patrick was able to come up with all his schemes to steal $90 million and still get away with it. But I didn't like the ending though for it was another book by John Grisham in which the lawyer ends up on the losers' side. Makes me give my decision of pursuing a legal career a second thought.

One of Grisham's most captivating books. The protagonist is brilliant but human. He is prone to mistakes and pays the price. Light reading, you can take it with you everywhere. You won't get distracted by side conversation.
