This is a review of all four books in the series: The Face on the Milk Carton, Whatever Happened to Janie?, The Voice on the Radio, and What Janie Found The story begins when Janie sees a picture of a missing child on a milk carton...and realizes it is herself at age 3. Memories of an earlier life start to resurface, and she realizes that she was kidnapped! But how? And by whom? In the four books, Janie tries to put back together the pieces of her fragmented life. I remember reading The Face on the Milk Carton for fun as a teen (yes, it's been around for a while). I picked it up again recently, and ended up reading all four of the books in the series in one week. They are not hard reading, but the plot is very gripping. I had to read them all, just to find out how the story developed. These books have it all: hate, fear, kidnapping, romance, travel...you name it! If you are looking for a suspenseful read, I suggest checking out this series.   hide

I read it like a decade ago, but I definitely enjoyed it and read the whole series.

Final book in the Face on the Milk Carton series featuring Janie Johnson. In this book-Janie, Reeve, and Brian visit Stephen in Colorado after Janie discovers a shocking secret in a file from her father's records. Wonderful ending to a superb series.

Read all the books before this one. Liked them all. Was extremely disappointed with all of the inner dialogue where everyone is 'finding themselves' or whatever and with the lack of a resolution at the end of the book. Not only did they leave us hanging on the Kidnapper issue, she makes the stupidest possible decision to 'resolve' the issue. I wanted to set the book on fire and throw it at...more
