This is the only book of Grisham's I didn't care for. It concerns a lawyer who has to find the daughter of a client, who has left his entire estate to her. A dedicated missionary, she is located deep in a jungle and has no interest in the money. I didn't mind the story, but I didn't like the ending at all.

Read this a while ago, liked it. The story didn't really have anything very inspiring but it still got me hooked. Maybe I want to see my boss jump out of a window one day. That could explain why I enjoyed the beginning in any case.

It was very interesting to read descriptions about the Brazilian nature and Indians. That was definitely the best part of the book. I didn´t like the legal stuff so much and didn´t find the whole Phelan family (except for Rachel) and their lawyers particularly interesting. The ending was a good one, though.

A story about a billionaire who is tired of his useless family and their greed. A man who has his way even after he is dead.Another man who is a drunk on the verge of self-distructuion and a woman who wants no part of the civilized world. All three entertwined for a brillant story.
