Tara Road (Oprah's Book Club)

This one I couldn't put down. Very real relationships among several different kinds of women, creatively told, set in Dublin Ireland two women exchange houses for a month one summer, the one in Ireland and one in Connecticut. Modern and real and fun.

BORING with a capital B. Too long, repetitive, couldn't wait to get to the end but kept reading hoping the storyline would improve. YAWN!

Read any of Maeve Binchy's books - this one, like any of her others, will totally envelop you in the lives of her characters. It had one of my favorite characteristics of a good book: you're disappointed when it ends because you want to stay in the characters' lives.
