Love the fever series. Have to addmit though, I don't really like Mac. I think the books should follow Barrons. But that's just my opinion. Oh and I think V'lane is the coolest ever!

Awesome book!  this series gets better and better.  Every book leaves you with a cliff hanger, so be prepared and have the next book available for when you need it.

After reading Darkfever, I couldn't wait for a package to be deliver. So I downloaded Bloodfever to my kindle. It is starting out great. This one I'll savor and not gobble. I truly enjoy looking into the world of the faries.

I found this one to be better then the first book. It gave you a few more answers to the mirade of questions that I found while I read darkfever. With Moning being a romance writer I was surprised at the lack of romance in the first and second book, not that I am complaining. Her writing style is quite personal , which helps the reader identify with the main character, Mac. The only downside that...more
 I found this one to be better then the first book. It gave you a few more answers to the mirade of questions that I found while I read darkfever. With Moning being a romance writer I was surprised at the lack of romance in the first and second book, not that I am complaining. Her writing style is quite personal , which helps the reader identify with the main character, Mac. The only downside that I found with the book is the indepth pyschoanalysis that goes on. Mac seems to either have an answer or is looking for answer to every thought in her head as well as everything that goes on around her. With that said I still found this book to be a good read and would recommend it to any reader who enjoys peternatural writing   hide

Very quick read.  Ms. Moning picks up where she left off in the first book.  There is more character development in this book.  Riordan is explained and more of Jericho Barrons comes to life giving the reader a thirst to read the 3rd installment of Mac against the Fae.

Much better written than the first book, so it was a quick enjoyable read.  I think I finished it in only 2 1/2 nights.  It left me wanting to read more, thankfully there are a few more books in the series.  I am eagerly waiting for the next one to become available at my library!

Well, I waited a whole year to read this book. It's the second book in the series of 5. I wanted to be able to read the next book right away. I Loved it! It's darker than her other series. You are kept on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. Just who or what is Barrons? Will Ms. Lane ever figure out all the players in this ever changing game? MacKayla Lane's...more

MacKayla Lane's world keeps changing; druids, Fae,and Tuatha De Danaan are the paradigm. Southern Georgia Belle turned Sidhe-Seer fighting against the ultimate evil, "The Sinsar Dubh".   hide

OK, so I read this one in about a day and a half and I have to get to the library tomorrow to get the rest of the series.  This is good.  It's sort of Twilight on a much more adult level with a lot more freaky stuff.  I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book, it is perhaps, a little disjointed at times, and jumps very quickly from subject to subject, but none the less it was extremely enjoyable.
The story follows Mac and Barrons in their search for Fae artefacts. The relationship between Barrons and Mac is wonderfully written, it is tense, sensual and fierce, and utterly addictive.
