Much better written than the first book, so it was a quick enjoyable read. I think I finished it in only 2 1/2 nights. It left me wanting to read more, thankfully there are a few more books in the series. I am eagerly waiting for the next one to become available at my library!

better than the first, this one made the series a little addictin. it most certainly did push me to read a third and thats the one that hooked me.
i like that there is finally some solidarity and more mystery to the novel balanced with action. i felt the first was lackin some of that.
Very quick read. Ms. Moning picks up where she left off in the first book. There is more character development in this book. Riordan is explained and more of Jericho Barrons comes to life giving the reader a thirst to read the 3rd installment of Mac against the Fae.
OK, so I read this one in about a day and a half and I have to get to the library tomorrow to get the rest of the series. This is good. It's sort of Twilight on a much more adult level with a lot more freaky stuff. I highly recommend it.
